What do you do when you get...

...the diagnosis you feared most?

...that call in the middle of the night you never want to hear?

...news that tragedy has hit close to home?

Calamity is no stranger to any of us. It may look as if hope is lost. Anquish grips us. So, how do we break the chains of despair? How do we move forward? Facing indescribable tragedy and impending death, this family embraces the never-failing power of faith—the kind that only comes through God's people uniting in prayer. Through the eyes of his wife, Sandra, you will read the story of Greg Mundis's battle with Covid-19, the very first intubated case at their local hospital. In their darkest storm, they rallied for hope found only in Jesus.

In this riveting story, seen through the eyes of Sandra, Greg’s wife, you will discover how faith, family, perseverance, and the power of prayer prevail when facing adversities, setbacks, and losses.

As the morning progressed, the reality of Greg’s dire condition haunted me. Was there such a thing as ‘cautious hope’ or was it the same as lack of faith? Questions filled my mind. Why was my hope not extravagant after Greg survived his first night with only a ten-percent chance to live? I gave the Lord all the credit for that miracle and yet doubts pricked my mind. He could still die today or tomorrow or next week because his critical condition hadn’t changed. (excerpt from Patient #1)

You will be drawn into their devastating crisis from page 1.
